Pre-university training program (the Russian Language + other subjects)
This program is targeted at foreign citizens who do not speak Russian and wish to study undergraduate (Bachelor) and graduate (Master) programs at SSU or other universities.
This program includes the study of the Russian Language (starter/beginner level) and 3 general educational subjects, depending on/according to the direction of the future specialty, i.e. where students plan to apply to in the future.
The list of majors (educational program specialization) and the list of general educational subjects depending on the profile of the future specialty:
– Humanitarian/Humanities (History, Social Studies, Literature);
– Economic (History, Social Studies, Mathematics);
– Medical and Biological (Biology, Chemistry, Physics);
– Natural Science (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry);
– Engineering, Technical and Technological (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science).
- Total hours – 1012 contact hours
- Mode of study: full-time / via use of exclusively distance learning technologies (online mode)
- Fee 112,332 rubles / 101,200 rubles
- School starts upon arrival from September 1 to June 30, from November 1 to August 31
- Deadline for the program December 5
After December 5, this program is not implemented.
At the end of the studying process within the program students come through the final testing. The final tests include an exam in the Russian Language in accordance with the Requirements of the First Certification Level (B1), tests in the scientific style of speech and an exam in general education subjects. Students who successfully pass final testing obtain a standard university certificate of study.
2) "Russian as a Foreign Language" within the framework of the pre-university training program
This program includes the study of the Russian as a foreign language of general knowledge only (without studying general subjects) from Beginner/Starter to B1 level.

- Mode of study: full-time / via use of exclusively distance learning technologies (online mode)
- Fee 76368 rubles / 68800 rubles
- Check-in dates (= school starts):
December 5 - January 14 up to June 30
January 14 - March 18 up to August 31

The applicant s surname, name and patronymic (if any), indicated in the translations of the submitted documents, shall comply with the surname, name and patronymic indicated in the identity document of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation.
