SSU – Awardee of All-Russian Contest Held by Centres for Employment and Labour Market Adaptation

The All-Russian Contest for the Best Practices of Centres for Student and Graduates Career and Employment was held from 18 to 22 December. The event was organised by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. More than 150 applications from universities of the Russian Federation were submitted for the competition.

According to the results of the first stage, which was held off-site at the level of federal districts, the SSU team scored the maximum number of points and reached the finals. At the final stage, the university team was represented by Head of the Regional Centre Regional for Graduates Employment and Labour Market Adaptation Tatyana Danilina. As a result of the competition, Saratov University became an awardee in the Best ideas and methods of tutoring in youth career growth nomination. The awarding ceremony took place at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.

A team of university staff and potential graduates’ employers helped in application: Vice-Rector for Secondary Professional Education and Social Work, SSU, Olga Nesterova, Head of the Education Office Sergei Udalov, Head of the Office of Priority Projects and Programmes Maria Yerokhina, Deputy Head of the Office of Social Work Marina Kabanova, Head of the SSU Boiling Point Centre Andrei Rytik, Head of the Student Inclusive Education and Social Adaptation Centre Anna Rybakova, Head of the Regional Centre Regional for Graduates Employment and Labour Market Adaptation Tatyana Danilina, a master degree student of the Institute of History and International Relations Oksana Railyan, Regional Director of Norilsk Nickel – Shared Service Center (Saratov) Kapitolina Zakharinskaya, Head of the Personnel Development Office of Saratov Oil Refinery PJSC Natalia Bogdanova.

As part of the event, a competition of student networking practices was also held. The team of the SSU Student Recruitment Agency presented materials in the Innovative Forms of Networking Practices nomination and took 4th place. The student team included students from the Institute of History and International Relations, the Institute of Philology and Journalism, and the Institute of Chemistry.
