According to the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, before February 1, all high school students must submit an application for passing the Unified State Exams in 2022. They have very little time left to decide on the choice of their future profession.
Saratov University – one of the leading universities in the country with a rich history – is pleased to invite enrollees to study in its educational units – institutes, faculties, and colleges. Since the beginning of the year, open days have been held at the faculties and the institutes. The management and employees of the educational units are ready to tell enrollees about the courses, scholarship and internship programmes and talk about employment prospects after graduation. The university offers enrollees both humanitarian and natural science courses. Traditionally, the most demanded courses are taught at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economics. In the Year of Science and Technology, the first students of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technologies, SSU, started their training. The faculty trains future biophysicists, biochemists, and cybernetics doctors.
The university teaching staff are ready to help in preparing for the Unified State Exams. The Institute of Pre-University Education, SSU, conducts preparation courses for the Unified State Examination and the General State Examination. In addition, being a part of the institute, the State-Funded Preparatory Division provides comprehensive training for high school students for entrance examinations to universities of the Russian Federation.
Since October 2021, there began working the SSU virtual pedagogical course for high school students from Saratov and the region who are interested in the profession of a teacher. Based on the results of the final testing, the course participants will receive certificates, and the best graduates will receive recommendations for designing targeted training for pedagogical areas of training.
For high school students who want to join university life in advance, there are special courses: Journalism School, Young Psychologist School, Young Translator School, and Young Chemist School.
