Student Club Members Made Creative Investigation at New Season Opening

The opening of the 61st season of the Student Club have taken place in the Assembly Hall of Bldg. X. The members of the club presented a detective story with the characters of a Soviet cartoon titled Investigation Held by Kolobki.

At the beginning of the event, its host, Art Director of the Student Club Mikhail Vinogradov held a roll call, naming the institutes and faculties in turn. The guests, or students from all the institutes, faculties, and colleges of Saratov University, applauded and shouted very loudly. The presentation was also attended by the SSU directors, deans, professors, and staff members.

The start of the new season of the Student Club was given by Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Organisational Work Anton Golovchenko. ‘Today, I am very pleased to open the sixty-first season of the Student Club of Saratov State University. Taking this opportunity, I would like to invite all first–year students to various creative groups, because the Student Club is the most creative department of our university, which will give you the opportunity to develop in different directions, show your worth, and learn something new. Surely, the club will be productive this year,’ he addressed to the guests.

The stage of the Assembly Hall turned into a detective agency, decorated in the style of the Soviet cartoon. The role of the main characters, the investigators Chief and Colleague, were played by actors of the Paribashte drama group, the SSU Theatre Team, as well as the SSU CFW League Nikita Krivosheyev and Roman Isayev. They investigated the case of the injured freshman, whose role was played by Aleksei Vasilchikov.

The investigation, the questioning of the victim, witnesses, suspects, identification, and inquiry, were combined with the performance of creative groups. The ArT-mix modern choreography group performed the Udmurt dance, the Cats of IPhES acrobatic collective showed a performance item titled Dante. In addition, the LookatThem group of the Faculty of Biology, the Holiday folklore band, the Melange band performed there.

When Svetlana Telyatnikova, a fourth-year student of the Institute of Philology and Journalism, and Norair Petrosyan sang the song White Night, the hall lit up with the glow of dozens of flashlights which were swaying to the beat of the music.

The actors of the Collage theatre and the TeT-a-TeT ballroom dance group also showed their worth. The SofCom group of the original genre held the Neon Show, plunging the audience into an oriental fairy tale. Daria Panakshina, a student of the Faculty of Law and a participant of the 2022 Student Spring, sang the song And I’m Not a Witch at All.

At the ending of the event, COOL K!DS made a performance. After that, the actors, dancers, and singers took to the stage. Permanent Head of the Student Club Mark Pinkhasik addressed to the freshmen and hoped that they would join the creative groups of the club. ‘We have slightly opened the curtain to show you, first-year students, our creative groups. Therefore, we are inviting all of you to join the club and perform at the new Student Spring. It is up to you!’
