Admission Campaign in Progress in SSU

The admission campaign continues at Saratov University. Until July 29, enrollees can apply for all full-time university courses. The admission plan for full-time undergraduate / specialty studies this year is 1,695 people.

To date, 13,509 enrollees have applied, 4,879 of them would like to take state-funded places, 5,162 applicants are from Saratov and Saratov Region. The number of our potential students who submitted documents via the Online Admission to the University super service (UPSS) – 9,1% (1,230) of the total number of applications. For the target recruitment, 190 applications have been submitted, of which 109 were for pedagogical areas. The total number of target places is 245.

The average admission rate at the university this year is 8 people per place, while for faculties and institutes it varies from 4 to 29,5 people per place. Among the leaders in popularity are the Faculty of Economics (the rate is 29,5 people per place), the Faculty of Law (competition of 29 people per place), and the Faculty of Psychology is in the third place (competition of 16,3 people per place).

The new Faculty of Fundamental Medicine and Medical Technology has received 169 applications. The average admission rate for the faculty is 3,7 people per place. We will accept documents for the part-time courses on August 7 and for the tuition fee courses – on August 8.

At Geology College, admission campaign will finish on August 15 for the full-time course and on September 10 for the part-time courses. You can apply for the full-time courses at the College of Radioelectronics is until August 15. In total, 351 applications have submitted to that college and 365 to Geology College. The enrollees will be able to apply for the state-funded master degree courses till August 10 and for the tuition fee master degree ones – on August 25.

The admission campaign for the postgraduate courses will last until July 31. The list of the required documents and the information about the entrance exams can be found in the Admission Guidelines. Also, you can contact the Postgraduate Studies Division by phone: 8(8452)51-58-79.

The Documents for admission must be submitted to the admission commissions of the faculties and the institutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and - from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays. The application forms are presented on our official website in the Admission to the University. They can also be sent by post.
