On December 6, as part of the #WEARETOGETHER International Forum of Civic Participation at the site of the Russia International Exhibition-Forum (VDNH), an agreement was signed by the Association of Volunteer Centres with universities on joining the Consortium for the development of the Learning Through Devotion curriculum. The document was signed at the forum by SSU Rector Alexei Chumachenko and Deputy Chair of the Council of the Association of Volunteer Centres Alina Yashina.

The Learning Through Devotion curriculum was developed on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin exactly a year ago. The consortium is created as an association that will develop strategic solutions aimed at the development of the Learning Through Devotion large federal project. Since September 1, 2023, the course has been launched in 126 universities in Russia, which have entered into a pilot project to introduce the Learning Through Devotion approach into training. SSU became one of the pilot universities participating in the project.

Due to the consortium as a platform for effective interaction between universities, Saratov State University will be able to participate in the development of important strategic decisions, the exchange of educational methods, which are actively implemented as part of the project.

The Learning Through Devotion curriculum is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Rosmolodezh Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia.
