In Sochi, in the Sirius Park of Culture and Science, from November 27 to 29, there were held the finals of the Your Move First All-Russian student contest of the Russia – Land of Opportunities presidential platform. At that time, the participants were designing the university of the future, responding to "mega-challenges" – strategically important tasks for modern youth and Russian universities. At the end of it, the winners were announced, including a 4th-year student at the Institute of Physics, SSU, Yevgenii Sozonov.

‘It was very difficult to understand what happened. At the moment when I was handed this plate, I began to doubt. Did they really call my name? Is it exactly me? But after a few seconds, doubts disappeared, and extraordinary emotions provoked in me. I was incredibly glad that I did a lot more and exceeded my expectations,’ Yevgenii Sozonov shared his impressions.

In addition, a freshman of the Faculty of Sociology, an activist of the Undergraduate and Graduate Council Vladislav Bykov worked as a volunteer in the logistics service of the competition.

Each winner received a 1,000,000 rubles prize, which can be used for training, launching a start-up, or improving housing conditions. In addition, the winners will go on a trip around Russia: they will be able to make unique educational tours in the North Caucasus, Sakhalin, Kamchatka, the Urals, and other regions of the country.

The 50 universities that sent the largest number of participants to the Your Move contest finals will be awarded with 2,5 million rubles, which can be used for the development of universities.

Many active participants in the Your Move competition received special prizes and invitations to internships at major Russian companies, including Norilsk Nickel MMC, Rosatom State Corporation, the Russian Railways, and the VK Russian technology company.

It was moderated by the Russia – the Land of Opportunities NPO, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), and the National League of Student Clubs supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
