SERS-active nano- and microstructures for cells study and bio-diagnostics

The research focuses on the development of surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) nano- and microstructures enabling sensitive and selective detection of biologically relevant molecules, biomarkers and pathogens.  There are three main direction:

-          large-scale SERS sensors with high uniformity and reproducibility for diagnostics of biological fluids (blood, saliva);

-          plasmonic coupling in self-assembled metal nanostructures and chemical compounds capable SERS molecules detection in living cells;
